Foolishness On Xbox Live

Obviously, basically every lobby has a 12 year old talking about the things he did with my mom, some kid blasting rap on a kinect, and some squeaker clan.

Trash talkers, little kids, whining brats, random trolls, annoying music players, you name it. That's one of the reasons why I haven't gotten back onto my Xbox 360. I barely play enough anyways (never go on unless a friend of mine goes on), and trash talkers online just make the experience less inviting. Sure mute buttons help calm you down, but do you really want to use it every single time you play an online match with your friends to try to have some fun entertainment?

Those instances happen a lot. Well I'm quite used to it already. I hear a lot of complaints at work especially when I have customers who come to me and yell at me even though I wasn't the one who they talked to previously.

I got so sick of the twerpy little jerks being out of line that I started to play with the screen name of a guy. Once I did that then things started to improve for me - it gets really old after awhile.

To the perfectly honest, every time I am on Xbox live there is always some jerk messing around with everybody. Trolls will be trolls though. Microsoft should make some sort of speech recognition software that's detects if a gamer is being overly aggressive or over talkative, that way the gamer could be kicked out of the match. I think that would be awesome and would make my Xbox live experience much more enjoyable.

What kind of foolishness? Cause there are a lot of them online. I once had a match with a guy that has, I think a clip of pornography playing on the background. Other times some of them are just jerks in the game, like they would do the stupidest things. I had a team mate once who blew himself up in Halo with the rest of us still on the Warthog.

I think if I play online and I haven't got my headset on and I don't experience anyone else's foolish blabbering than I have to check if my headset is still blugged in. I live in the UK and there are millions of 7-14 year olds that make playing on XBOX live that little bit much more harder.

This thread brings back memories of when I would put many hours into Halo 3, I was bad at the start and I was a kid and when I know I am bad at a game I put time aside to get better and better, I was one of those squeakers that would always get hate from those older teenagers that were always looking to pick on someone and this happened every match I joined. I had been playing for a coupe of months and got drastically better and whenever I played ranked I would dominate and destroy and usually always win. The best moment of my whole career was when I was playing against this group of 14 to 17 year old and I was 11 or 12 and they were trash talking about my family and just comments that would hurt anyone, I was not fazed at all and I saw all three of them moving in a group and I threw a sticky grenade killed 1 the rest were hurt, I threw another and I happened to kill the second person I gunned down the third person and begin to teabag their body and made them quit the game and I went on to send them hateful messages.

I havent had a time when there wasnt lol. Its always someone on there who has something to prove. I dislike when people come in with their mics on with so much background noise it ruins it for everybody else. It makes me want to turn my game off especially if everything was fine before then.

Of course I think that Xbox live is the place that you seem to encounter the most nonsense and sometimes the most craziest gamers. One time me and my squad was playing COD against some guys that I think are really young and they just kept making tons of unnecessary noises in the mic until we had to mute them. They were literally just sitting back and killing each other in the game and that was something that me an my guys really couldn't care for so we ended up just living them high and dry.

i have the same stuff. live should be free. im hardwired so microsoft can suck my balls if anyone thinks its my connection muffing

Unfortunately, anytime you get a group of people together and in a semi-unregulated environment like this, you're going to get the idiots who try and spoil it for everyone else.

While if they are doing things to annoy you in the middle of a game its bad sportsmanship but maybe understandable, just being a clown blasting your music or chatting sh*t all the times isn't acceptable in my opinion.

Man I get foolishness everyday. I just learn to counter that foolishness with witty and persistent insults. I love pissing off someone who tried to piss me off. Especially if it's something that involves wit or something they just can't over-stand.

Giving as good as you get is certainly the best way to deal with them, but it's still frustrating and annoying when you're in the middle of a game and they start to di*k about for no reason. Well, the reason is that they're losing and they don't like it!

There will always be the immature adults or foolish kids roaming any online gaming service, not just Xbox live. Its just one of those things that you have to learn to deal with and there is literally nothing you can do about it other than sticking with a group of friends in a private game room as opposed to playing in public rooms. The kids who think they are God are especially annoying but at the same time I remember being the same when I was younger, there is nothing you can really do about it and in the end its not their fault, they are just being kids.

I love it so much. I am usually the more rational and sane one of the bunch, but there is something hilarious that I would dearly miss if all the fools disappeared at the snap of the finger. They are the comedy.

You might say that they're the comedy, but to me they're just childish and annoying. Don't get me wrong, I like a good laugh and a joke as much as anyone but there's a time and a place for it.

If you want to act a fool that's fine, but go and do it with others who want to act the same way, and don't spoil my game.

It happens, the game is there for everyone. Have to adapt since you can't do anything about it.

Only about 80% of the gamers on there, especially the Halo players, lol. I've heard racism, sexism, homophobia, insults to peoples moms you name it, it's all on there. A right bunch of keyboard warriors. hiding behind their screens. The sad thing is that this generation of kids are the adults of tomorrow, god help us all! :p
