Hitman: Blood Money Achievements
Hi and welcome to the Hitman: Blood Money Achievement Guide. The fourth game in the Hitman series has 24 achievements with a total of 1000G. The achievements are not very difficult, but they will take a long time given the trial and error nature of the game. The only achievement that could be missable is 'High Roller' so make sure you read the description of that before you start a new game. I recommend reading through the guide at least once if you are starting the game to know what to expect (the Secret achievements have some spoilers so beware of those if it's your first time playing).
1st mission complete (25G)
"Death of a Show man" completed on any difficulty.
This achievement is story related and cannot be missed.
To unlock this achievement, you just have to finish the training level and the achievement it’s yours.
Rookie mode complete (25G)
Completed Rookie difficulty
This achievement is story related and cannot be missed.
For this achievement, you have to finish the game on the Rookie difficulty. It does not matter what ratings you achieve during your missions or what weapons you use. The achievement should pop up after finishing the last mission.

Normal mode complete (50G)
Completed Normal difficulty
This achievement is story related and cannot be missed.

Tier 2 Kruger Schmidt (5G)
Tier 2 of the Kruger Schmidt upgrade shop unlocked
This achievement is story related and cannot be missed.
Simply playing through the game will unlock all the possible weapons and upgrades.
It should unlock after finishing the level “A New Life”.
Tier 3 Kruger Schmidt (15G)
Tier 3 of the Kruger Schmidt upgrade shop unlocked
This achievement is story related and cannot be missed.
Simply playing through the game will unlock all the possible weapons and upgrades.
It should unlock after finishing the level “You better watch out”.
Tier 4 Kruger Schmidt (20G)
Tier 4 of the Kruger Schmidt upgrade shop unlocked
This achievement is story related and cannot be missed.
Simply playing through the game will unlock all the possible weapons and upgrades.
It should unlock after finishing the level “Till Death Do Us Part”.
Fully Customised M4 (25G)
All custom M4 components purchased
After you have unlocked all the possible upgrades (after the mission ‘Till Death Do Us Part’), you have to fully customize this weapon to unlock this achievement.
As it is very expensive to upgrade all the weapons (around $1.2 – 1.4 million for each) there is an easier way to achieve all the customization achievements. First of all, you must have Tier 4 upgrades and you must accumulate around $1.6 million. Choose any mission, the shorter the better (e.g. A New Life) and go to Upgrade Weapons. Decide on a weapon and upgrade it to 100% (make sure you bought every upgrade possible for ONE weapon). Quickly run through the mission and at the end of it, that specific weapon’s achievement should unlock. Before saving of continuing, shut off your console (or return to the dashboard). It’s very important NOT TO SAVE! Now, when you go back to start the mission again the weapon will not be upgraded and you will still have all your money plus the achievement! Repeat this, while choosing a different weapon every time and you should get the weapon achievements much faster than it would take to earn all the necessary money.

After you have unlocked all the possible upgrades (after the mission ‘Till Death Do Us Part’), you have to fully customize this weapon to unlock this achievement.

All firearms collected and displayed in Hideout
For this achievement you have to collect all the guns found in the game. To collect a gun, you first have to pick it up and then you have to finish the level with it still in your possession for it to count. Except for the limited one rifle at a time, you can carry as many weapons as you want. Levels are replayable and every new weapon you finish a level with is added to your Hideout.
It is important to note, that each difficulty has a different, separate Hideout so for this achievement you have to collect all the weapons on the same difficulty (you only have to do it once).

5 Professional Silent Assassins (100G)

As in the previous games, at the end of each mission you receive a rating based on a number of factors and Silent Assassin is the highest one possible and it’s achieved the same: by being the perfect hitman. There are a few things to consider when trying to achieve this rating. First of all, the most important thing is that you can only injure and/or kill your target and no one else, unless it can be classified as an ‘accident’. No one else can witness you doing this. You also have to be very stealthy; your disguise cannot be blown and you cannot be caught in a restricted area. In a nutshell, avoid people as much as possible. The final thing is that you also have to kill your target stealthily, without anyone seeing you. Shooting anyone is not allowed either, even if you are using a silencer. Sometimes, the game will present you the opportunity of staging accidents for your target and if possible, this is always the best route to achieving a Silent Assassin rating. A new addition is that you cannot be seen on CCTV cameras and if you are, to achieve the SA rating, you have to retrieve the security tape. It is also important to hide the body of anyone you kill (which ideally is only your target) or leave unconscious.
On the harder difficulties (Expert and Professional) there is another addition: you cannot leave any clues behind. Counting as clues are basically your suit (if you changed disguise) and any custom weapons that you must bring home. Also, on these difficulties it is also important to hide the body of anyone you kill (which ideally is only your target) or leave unconscious.
Fortunately, these achievements are stackable so completing five missions with a SA rating on Professional will also unlock the ones for Expert and Normal.
The easiest way to do this is to find an easy mission that you are comfortable with and replaying it 5 times (getting a SA rating each time!) as this will still count towards the achievement.
Blood Money Secret Achievements
Accidents do happen... (20G)
A successful accident kill has been performed.
For this achievement to unlock, you have to kill someone and make it look like an accident. In the second mission, ‘A Vintage Year’, one of the targets will go down in the wine cellar and stay directly below some caskets of wine. Before that you can plant a bomb on the winch holding the caskets and detonated at the right time, will provoke the ‘accident’. There are a lot of possible ‘accidents’ throughout the game and this is only one of them. The achievement should appear at the end of the mission.
47 kills in a mission 20
A mission has been completed with precisely 47 kills.
At the end of a mission, you should have exactly 47 kills, not one more or less. The easiest way is to keep adding them in your head until you get to 47 (make sure the target is dead before you reach 47) and the finish the mission. In the mission ‘Curtains Down’ it is very easy to achieve it because after you killed all the guards and the targets, you still need a few people to add up and there are plenty of civilians around.
Every moving person counts as a kill, be it civilian or target. Obviously, this is easiest done on the lowest difficulty.
Notorious (20G)
47 is the world's most wanted.
You have to be playing at least on the Normal difficulty. For this achievement, you need to reach 100/100 Notoriety. Notoriety is not very hard to obtain; just go around shooting everyone you see, but leave a few civilians as witnesses (remember to finish the mission to gain notoriety). After approximately three missions you should reach 100/100 Notoriety very easily.
NOTE: You cannot gain notoriety on a mission already finished and saved.
Redemption (50G)
You can't keep a good man down.
For this achievement, you just have to complete the Redemption level; the actual last level of the game. When the mission begins, move the left analog stick up and down until Agent 47 wakes up and then make sure to kill absolutely everyone there. After that, the achievement should unlock.
High Roller (50G)
$5,000,000 have been accumulated.
For this achievement to unlock, you must have $5 million in your bank. Just save up the money and do not spend it on anything and it should not be a problem. The achievement should appear as soon as you have $5 million in your bank at the end of a mission.
Special Rating (50G)
A Special Rating has been awarded.
There are a lot of different ways to achieve a Special Rating, but the easiest one is in the mission ‘A New Life’. You have to take the sniper rifle and go to the tree house. Proceed to killing every single FBI agent on the map, using ONLY the sniper rifle (there will be reinforcements coming to check on the dead soldiers so just wait in the tree house, picking them one by one, until they stop coming). You must also kill Vinnie with the sniper rifle, but you cannot kill his wife. Either sedate or seduce her and after you steal the microfilm, finish the mission.
The conditions for this map are that all FBI agents on the map must die, and they all have to be killed with the sniper rifle (you can kill the ones in the van with poisoned donuts, but no sedative). Also, Vinnie has to die by sniper rifle and no civilians or innocents are allowed to die.
The awarded rating will be Russian Hare.
