Is the Final Fantasy X and X2 remake worth $30?

That's what it costs at Wal-Mart -- $30. I could care less about X2 but I'd really like to play the remake of X. Would you give $30 for this game?

well its free, if you're on PSN, so it might be worth being free

Even if it's not free, for $30 it's definitely worth it. The visuals got overhauled and you get two great games for the price of half a game. FFX is one of my favorite RPGs of all time, I never played X2 but I heard that it is just as good.

Depends on two things.

Do you own the original games?

Do you own a PC capable of emulating said games?

If you answered yes to both questions then, no it's not worth it. Go set up an emulator which will run at an even higher resolution with better texture scaling and the original models were better.
If no to one of those then yeah, go ahead and buy it.

I didn't like any of those games all that much, but part of it is due to the fact that I am not that much into the turn-based combat system. I really loathe it. But the story was good enough, so would say you should pick it up.
