Below you will find The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim cheats. Cheats typically create an advantage beyond normal gameplay, usually to make the game easier.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Unlockables/Cheats

Easy gold
Take a horse and carriage to Winterhold. Once there, turn right and travel southwest from Winterhold to a place called "Sightless Pit". Go to the mountain, you will find an altar with a skeleton on it. Next to the skeleton is a book called "The Doors To Oblivion". Take the book, and then kill the skeleton on the table. Two other skeletons will appear around the altar; kill them also. Return to the first skeleton and loot its body, taking everything. Repeat this, and the book on the skeleton keeps reappearing. You can keep taking "The Doors Of Oblivion" book worth 50 gold each. Every time you view the Skeleton's inventory, even when you don’t take the book, one book will be added to the skeleton's inventory. Repeat this as much as desired.

Go to Dawnstar and find the entrance to the Iron-Breaker Mine, but don’t enter it. To the left of the entrance is a tree with some rocks behind it. Walk under the tree, and aim your crosshairs around the edges of the rocks until "Search Chest" appears. The chest is invisible as it sits under the ground, but it can still be looted. Open the chest to find a large amount of free loot, including crafting supplies, weapons, armor, enchanted items, gold, and more. Take everything and sell the items for a large amount of gold. It helps to bring a horse to help you carry the stuff and enable you to move quickly or fast travel. To reset the chest and get more loot, return to the entrance of Dawnstar. You will find a Khajiit trader caravan. If the caravan is not there, wait for it to return in a few days. Look for the Khajiit named "Ahkari". Save the game while looking at her, then attack her after saving. You don’t have to kill her; damaging her is enough. Then, reload the saved game file, and talk to her. Ask to see her wares, then exit the "Trade" menu, and go back to the invisible chest by the mine. Repeat this process as many times as desired.

While going for the "One With The Shadows" achievement, you will get a special request for Windhelm called "Summerset Shadows". After you have completed this quest, Niranye will have 4,000 gold on her every two days. Keep stealing as much gold from her as possible. This also is an easy way to get the "Golden Touch" achievement.

At the beginning of the game, look for Hod once you reach the first town of Riverwood. During the day, he is to be found standing at the top of the sawmill. He will buy all the wood you bring to him. He never runs out of gold like the merchants. Chop and sell as much wood to him as desired for easy gold.

Easy experience
At the beginning of the game, during the tutorial, when you have to choose to enter the keep with either Hadvar or Ralof, choose Hadvar. Let Hadvar cut off the binds from your hands and then take the iron sword from the wall. Use the sword as to hit Hadvar repeatedly as he stands by the door so that you level up the One-Handed skill. Once you knock him down, don’t hit him again until he gets back on his feet. To level up the Sneak skill, repeatedly sneak up on Hadvar while he is standing by the door, and then attack him with the sword. Repeat this until you reach level 32. From level 33 for the Sneak skill, all you have to do is sit behind him and hit him with the sword every six seconds. To level up the Two-Handed skill, you have to make some significant progress in the game until you get the two-handed sword. After reaching the area with the bear, where Hadvar gives you the bow and arrow, hit Hadvar repeatedly with the two-handed sword to easily level up the Two-Handed skill. To level up the Destruction skill, just keep burning Hadvar. If you level all the above skills to level 100 this way, you should have 37 perk points and be at level 37 when you start the game start the game.

Go and find Alvor & Sigrid's house in Riverwood village. You will find Hadvar there. Rest until it is after 8 a.m. to give Alvor time to leave the house. Sigrid and the young girl will be downstairs, and Hadvar will be upstairs. If he is not upstairs, just wait until he comes there. Then, save the game, just in case you don’t get it the first time. Equip the weapon that you want to increase the skill level for, and sneak behind Hadvar. Do a heavy strike that makes him fall to the floor. When he gets up, he will have no idea that you hit him. Since he never dies, you can do this as many times as you want. This way, you get to level up the weapon you are using, plus your Sneak skill.

Easy gold and Enchanting and Smithing skills
For this trick, you need a Soul Trap weapon, and access to a smith and arcane enchanter. Begin by purchasing an equal number of Iron Ingots, Leather Strips, and Petty Soul Gems. Fill the Petty Soul Gems (by using the Soul Trap weapon to kill with), then find a smith. Create as many Iron Daggers as you can, then go to an arcane enchanter (you can find one in Dragonsreach). Enchant all the daggers with the Petty Soul Gems (you may have to disenchant the Soul Trap weapon) and then go sell them at a shop. If you have good barter skill, you will earn about 170 gold per dagger in profits, and will level up your Enchanting and Smithing skills.

Infinite skill level gain
You need a house with an alchemy lab to perform this trick. Acquire the Oghma Infinium book, but don’t read it. Go to your house first, and open the bookshelf. Read the Oghma Infinium book, and select the skill set to assign the skill gain. Close the book but leave the bookshelf open. Put the book on the shelf, then take it back off the shelf, and select it, but do not read it. Repeat this as many times as desired.

Duplicating apparel items
Place any apparel item on a mannequin (armor or jewelry for best results). Next, put the item back into your inventory. Leave the mannequin behind, and move to a different location (for example, exit a house). Go back and you will find the item still on the mannequin, and take it again. Repeat this as many times as desired.

Duplicating books
You need a house with an alchemy lab to perform this trick. Activate the bookshelf, then put the book you want to duplicate on it. Exit the menu, then immediately activate the bookshelf again. Loot the book from the shelf in the menu. Immediately close the menu, and you can click on the book itself to read and then take it. You will now have two books in your inventory, having looted the book twice. Repeat this as many times as desired. This will really help with expensive books such as the Oghma Infinium.

Infinite arrows
Pickpocket arrows made from iron or steel from someone who shoots target dummies with arrows. Then, give them one of the arrow-type you want to accumulate. They will now start shooting only that type of arrow you have given them. Simply collect the arrows after they hit the target dummy and accumulate as many arrows as desired.

Easy armor, spells, and general experience
Set the difficulty to "Novice", and let a weak one-handed attack enemy hit you as you heal. This will level the armor you are wearing, Restoration, and also may level up Illusion.

Easy Destruction skill
After you join the Fighter's Guild, you will be prompted to go outside and fight with one of the members. Once outside, switch to destruction magic, and repeatedly use it against the opponent. He will try telling you to use a sword, but you will gain experience, and he does not die in the process. Repeat this as much as desired to get easy XP for magic.

Easy Pickpocket skill
Go to jail in Riften, then unlock your cell door. The guy in the cell directly across from yours is called Black-Briar. You can pickpocket him even after he catches you. Pickpocket all of his stuff, then place it back into his inventory. Repeat this as many times as desired to easily increase your Pickpocket skill level.

Easy Restoration skill
Go to High Hrothgar. Exit the door and go to the area where you are taught the Whirlwind Sprint, then head right. You will find a small staircase that leads up to a blizzard of some sorts. Proceed onward until you start getting hurt by it, then start using the Healing spell. Your health will diminish slowly because you are using the healing spell, but you will also gain experience. You can control how much damage you are taking by simply stepping backwards.

Easy Smithing and Speech skill
Every time you arrive at a forge, make sure you speak to the person in charge of it, and buy all the iron ingot and leather or leather strips they have for sale. For each iron ingot, make as many leather strips as possible. Take it to the forge, and craft an iron dagger that only requires one of each ingredient to create. Sell them back to the merchant one at a time so you create more transactions to level up the Speech skill.

Easy Sneak skill
At the start of the game, you will find a sleeping bear in Helgen's Keep. Hadvar will give you the option of sneaking past it or killing it. There is a small rock pile just off to the left of where Hadvar stops. Go round the back side, enter the crevice, and remain there hidden from the bear. Keep sneaking at the rock to increase your Sneak skill level. Repeat this for a long as possible, as the bear will only move if it detects you. To ensure you are in a good location, sneak for a short time, then confirm that your Sneak skill is rising. If not, move slightly closer to the bear and keep trying.

Easy stealing
To steal any item, first grab a basket, bucket, kettle, or any other type of container. Then, put the container over the head of the NPC that owns the item(s). With the container over their head, they will not be able to see you as you steal the desired item(s). Note: You cannot use this trick for pick pocketing. It only works for stealing items off counters, shelves, etc. Furthermore, there are a few, select NPC's that will not let you cover their heads with a container.

Easy weapon experience
When the Blades tells you to kill Paarthurnax, approach him to check if he is positioned perfectly on the stone wall. Attack him with any desired weapon or destruction magic you want to increase. If he dies, restart and try again. If you do it right, he will just keep taking the hits, then fly up and back down. He will never die, and you will not get any bounties for attacking him.

Free house in Whiterun
The house in Whiterun costs 5,000 gold, but you can get it for free with this trick. Go to the seller while he is asleep in his bed. He will sit up to talk to you. Ensure you are standing on a spot that allows you to open the nightstand or dresser next to the bed as you continue talking to him. Once you agree to buy the house, immediately open the dresser next to the bed, and put your gold into it, and continue with the conversation. He will give you the key, and then you can simply take your gold back out of the dresser.

Getting items from display cases without lockpicks
You can use this on any item inside a locked display case. Look directly at the item through the display case glass, then press A to activate the lockpick mini-game. Do not pick the lock; instead, press B to exit the lockpicking screen, then immediately press A. If you get it right, you will take the item from within the case without having unlocked the display case. For example, with this trick you can get the Elven Sword in the display case in Jarl Balgruuf's bed chamber area in Dragonsreach. It has a Master level lock, but with this trick, you will get it without even picking the lock. Note: This is still considered stealing in most cases; therefore, ensure you don’t get caught.

Invincible dog companion
Go to Falkreath, to the smith named Lod. He will ask you to find his dog named Barbas. The dog is outside of the village, and it will take you to the Shrine of Clavicus Vile. After you talk to the Daedra Lord, the dog will accompany you until you finish the "A Daedra's Best Friend" quest. Since the dog is considered a quest item, it cannot be killed. It will automatically attack enemies who approach you, without losing any health.

Curing vampirism
You can cure vampirism by turning into a werewolf or by successfully completing the "Rising At Dawn" quest.

Becoming a werewolf (lycanthropy)
To become a werewolf, follow the questline of The Companions Of Whiterun. Once you reach the "Silver Hand" quest, you will participate in a secret ritual, where you drink another werewolf's blood and turn into a werewolf yourself. You will be given the option to commit yourself, and the quest will not advance until you commit. Becoming a werewolf will bring you several benefits. In human form, you have increased health. In werewolf form, you have increased speed and physical strength. You will travel faster, tear enemies apart with your claws, and can scare enemies to run away from battle using your howl. When you get injured, you can heal your wounds by feeding on ravaged corpses as a werewolf. The werewolf effect is only temporary, and you eventually revert back to human form, but you can prolong this effect.

Curing lycanthropy
First, join The Companions faction and successfully complete all quests there. Then, talk to the leader of The Companions, Kodlak Whitemane, or ask around for a cure for werewolves. Aela the Huntress in Whiterun will also tell you more about The Companions' affliction. The Companions will offer you a special quest for curing your lycanthropy permanently, meaning you will never be able to become a werewolf again.

Joining the College Of Winterhold
Go to the College Of Winterhold in Winterhold. Speak to the Grand Teacher Tolfdir, and he will offer the "First Lessons" quest. Successfully complete the quest to join the College Of Winterhold.
Joining The Companions
There is a building called Jorrvaskr in Whiterun (look east of Dragonsreach). Enter the building, and go to the basement to speak with Kodlak. He will offer the "Take Up Arms" quest. Successfully complete the quest to join The Companions faction.

Joining The Dark Brotherhood
Go to the Aretino Residence in Windhelm and speak to a boy named Aventus Aretino. He will offer you the "Innocence Lost" quest. Soon after you complete the quest, nothing will happen, but a little later, a courier will deliver a note to you. Then, sleep and you will be contacted by The Dark Brotherhood. Speak to the stranger at your bedside, and you will then become a member of The Dark Brotherhood secret society.

Joining the Thieves Guild
Go to Riften, in the town square at the storefront during daylight, you will find Brynjolf. Speak to him, and complete his quest. Then, he will invite you to meet him at a bar called the Ragged Flagon, located underneath Riften, in the Ratway. Speak to him in the Ragged Flagon to start the "Taking Care Of Business" quest. Once you complete the quest, you will become a member of The Thieves Guild.

Dragon Claw chamber codes
Go into your items, and look at a Dragon Claw. Rotate it and look at the bottom to see the code for the door that it unlocks.

Fast traveling while over-encumbered
It is not possible fast travel while being over-encumbered. However, a horse is not affected by your encumbrance. Therefore, you can choose to fast-travel while on your horse.

Preventing fall damage
You can prevent fall damage when sliding down mountains or vertical surfaces by quickly toggling Sneak mode on and off repeatedly while sticking to the surface you are descending. This will nullify any damage caused by gravity, and can be very helpful if you are descending from a dangerous looking mountain without any roads to go down.

Dragonreach cave puzzle solutions
Inside the cave during your first mission for Dragonreach, you will be required to solve a combination puzzle. On the wall above the closed gate, you will see two heads with space in between. Each one bears a picture of a creature (snake and dolphin). The third creature (snake) is on the floor by the lever. The combination is Snake, Snake, Dolphin. The second combination is a turntable combination found deeper in the chambers. The solution is Bear, Owl, Bird. Insert the claw, and the door will open.

Defeating Giants easily
When a Giant is chasing you, run to the nearest river and go under water. The giant will immediately turn and walk away. As he is leaving, sneak out, and shoot him with an arrow. When he turns around to attack, go back under the water, and he will again turn and walk away. Keep repeating this process until you kill him. It may take a while.

Fallout 3 reference
While passing by guards, they may say "Let me guess, someone stole your Sweet Roll?" This is a reference to the beginning of Fallout 3, where your birthday sweet roll is stolen by Butch.

The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion reference
On the mountain passage connects Riverwood and Riften, you will find a Khajiit named M'aiq the Liar, which is a reference to the fast Khajiit you find outside of Bravil and Leyawinn in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion.

My question is why....this game is so much fun on a normal playthroguh, why would you ruin it doing the cheats above. Easter eggs are one thing, but the rest....meh.
