Hi,

I've had my Xbox One S (with drive) for around two years and the other day I fired it up to watch a bluray and I'm not getting a picture at all.

I've tried another device (Sony BD player) through the same HDMI cable (goes to a Denon AVR) and the HDMI cable is fine - I've also tried the Xbox straight into the TV with a different (confirmed working) HDMI cable but I get the same result.

I get the power light and the beep by no picture at all just the default AVR 'no signal' screen.
I've tried all the combinations of holding down buttons etc but I get the same result.
I don't know if this is the same thing as 'black screen of death' or something different - If it is BSOD, and from what I hear, MS have fixed the bug - how do I get it fixed?

If it's not BSOD what's the best way to proceed?
I checked the MS replacement program and they're quoting £211 for a refurbed unit - it looks like I can get a second hand unit for £90-£150 ...or should I look to having it repaired??
