theres also apparently a code on the back of mcdonalds receipts that gets you a $10 origin coupon code, making it $20 for battlefield 4, or 5 more dollars to include the expansion pack and 3 gold battlepacks

Thanks for the heads up on this, Martin. I know a couple of people (myself included) who have Battlefield 4 on the Christmas list this year. I'll probably have to pay full price to get the game on XBox One but one guy in particular that I know could care less about whether he gets the game on PC or console.

Unfortunately the McDonalds 10$ origin coupon code only works inside the US. It's possible to make it work through the use of VPN or a US proxy in other countries, but half the time it won't work
Whatever, I bought my Digital Deluxe version for 35$ + tax (canadian tax op).
