Xbox 360 Beating Victor

Is it possible to beat Victor? I keep running out of ammo and getting killed. I'm starting to think beating him is just plain impossible, but I'd like to know for sure before I give up.

You can't beat Victor in that mission, you've got to get back to the church to just finish the mission.

Try using a Titan, it helps a little.
