Below you will find Borderlands 2 cheats. Cheats typically create an advantage beyond normal gameplay, usually to make the game easier.
Borderlands 2 Unlockables/Cheats
Borderlands 1 Skins
If you kept a save file for Borderlands 1 and you are playing Borderlands 2, you will unlock characters skins from the earlier game. To unlock the Veteran skins for all the four characters, use the option under “Extras” menu.
Moxxi weapons
Continuously tip Moxxi large amounts of money in Sanctuary and she will eventually give you a weapon. You should wait until she stops talking before you tip her. After getting a weapon from her, you can fast travel to another location and then back to Sanctuary to repeat the process. There are two types of weapons she can give you- a corrosive elemental submachine gun and a fire elemental submachine gun.
Unlimited fast badass ranks
Start by creating a new character and then, using a second controller, join the game as a guest. When the game starts, use your main account to stand right in front of the guest character and win 50 fights. To do this, melee with both controllers to begin the fight, and then melee again with your main controller to win. You will earn a total of 166 badass ranks this way. You can go ahead and create another new character and repeat this.
Infinite Eridium
In Three Horns Valley, find the Bad Maw boss in his hideout and kill him. Pick up the Eridium he drops and enter the Bloodshot Stronghold. Once here, choose the “Save and Quit” option. You can repeat the process as many times as you like to get more Eridium.
Duplicating weapons, money and items
Start a co-op game with at least one other player and stand next to them to initiate a trade. Give to them the weapons, money or items that you want to duplicate and then quit the game immediately without saving by signing out of your profile. Go to the dashboard and reset the system. Since you did not save the game, you will still have your money, weapons or items that you traded, while the other player you traded with will also have them. The other player can also use the same method to give you the same items, weapons or money, and you can repeat this process as many times as you like.
Infinite Golden Keys
You need a Golden Key from a pre-order code to perform this trick. Sing a second player to join your game using a second controller. If you don’t have a second account, you can create one of any type. Let the second player open the Golden Loot chest in Sanctuary while player one takes the loot. This way, you don’t use the Golden key that player one has. You can create another account and repeat this as many times as you like.
Defeating The Warrior easily
When you start fighting with The Warrior, let him kill you immediately. You will end up spawning behind the shielded barrier that was protecting him. There are rocks to the left which you can climb to get above the shield barrier so that you are able to shoot at The Warrior without him causing harm to you.
Secrets
Easy XP during Tiny Tina's Tea Party Mission
When doing Tiny Tina’s Tea Party side quest, towards the end, you will be required to lure a psycho called “Flesh Stick” to Tiny Tina’s house. Instead of luring him to the house, shoot and kill him so that you get a huge XP boost (750xp per kill on level 18 and around 1,800xp on level 17). You can repeat this by simply speaking to Tiny Tina again and restarting the mission. The best way to go about this is in co-op play. One person will station where Flesh Stick spawns and the other at Tiny Tina’s. This will enable the two of you to repeat this process in quick succession until the game stops spawning Flesh Stick again. Once this happens, you can save and quit and then reload the game. This will make Flesh Stick respawn again.

Easter Eggs
Minecraft Easter Egg
At the end of Chapter 9, proceed to Sanctuary Hole and jump off a cliff then head to Caustic Caverns. Take the northwest direction and run until you reach the Gurdian Ruins. Turn right after the Minecarts and jump over the rectangular rocks then turn left. You will find Minecraft Dirt, and if you break through these, you will find cobblestone, coal and Minecraft stone. Beneath these, you will find Creepers and blocks of gold, Eridium, diamonds and other surprises. Kill the badass creeper so that you get Minecraft skins like Steaves Cloths and Steve Head.
Lord of The Rings Easter Egg
Start from Claptrap’s Place and travel through the following locations in the order given; Southern Shelf, Three Horns-Divide, Three Horns-Valley, The Dust and Eridium Blight. After this, go to the volcano to the northwest of the map to find Geary. Do not attack him; instead, allow him to hit you once only, and then he will jump off the cliff into the lava. After this, three Rakks will fly over you and drop three loot chests, one of which contains purple loot. You can repeat this special event as many times as you desire.
Extra Wubs
Extra Wubs do nothing much but you can unlock them anyway. At the title screen in the gameplay part of the options menu, enter the Konami code: up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, Start.
