Xbox One Can't hear anyone after controller update

Hi guys,

I've had my xb1 for about 3 weeks now, when I first played titanfall I could hear people talking and could talk to them using the included headset.

I done the controller update as I got a chat adapter and was hoping to use my turtle beach x12's, I'm waiting for a other cable to arrive so I can use my x12's but I've noticed since I've done the controller update I can't hear anyone chatting in the game forums or in the game itself.

So far I have tried the following:

Hard reset of the console

Privacy settings, have allowed everyone over chat and voice

Muted then unmixed my mic

Turned up the volume on the headset to 100%

Despite those steps I still can't hear anyone talking whilst on xbox live.

I haven't tested it in a party chat yet but I'm hoping to get the issue sorted ASAP

Has anyone had any similar issues?

I've just finished downloading the update for bf4 and players can hear me in that game, it looks like it's isolated to titanfall

I had this same problem when I was playing Titanfall, but I don't remember how we finally fixed it. To be completely honest, I think it might have just fixed itself after a reset.
