During Comic Con, Capcom announces that they will be releasing the game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The trailer video looks like it's a combat-platformer like game where you kill enemies, use different abilities, and explore the world. Seems like a pretty interesting game, not to mention that the graphics are pretty amazing.

Strider "tells the story of Hiryu, the youngest ever 'Super A' ranked agent of an elite corps known as the Striders. Strider Hiryu receives orders to assassinate Grandmaster Meio, supreme dictator of Earth, who has plunged humanity into a dystopian dark age."

Awesome! Strider is an awesome franchise, these games are super fun. Good to see Capcom reviving the franchise!

Hmm...interesting. Very stylized. I hadn't played any of these, and haven't played much side-scrollers in years. I'll check this one out, it looks like a very good-looking (graphics and playability) game.

It's nice to see Strider again. The last time we saw a Strider game was back on the PS1. But why did they go with a western developer for this? And Double Helix hasn't been known for making good games. But Strider was always simplistic gameplay wise so it would be pretty hard to mess it up, no matter how bad the studio may be.

Cool! I remember playing Strider in the arcades during my grade school days and I always had a blast. I wonder how Capcom is going to revamp this franchise and take it to the next level of gaming... One question though, why did they leave Nintendo out of the picture? Also, I'm hoping that Capcom would include the 2D strider games of the past in this new game.

At first i got really excited, Strider being one of my all time favorite arcade game and all, but then i got worried, seeing how Ninja Theory managed to single-handedly destroy my favorite series before, but then i watched gameplay footage and now i am confused. Can this actually be a good game?

Will be waiting for some new footage before deciding.

Anyone interested in getting this game? Here's some footage to let you have a good thought on whether to get it. Thoughts? This one looks nice. A Strider for the next-gen? Cool.

Didn't expect Capcom would EVER reboot Strider. But looks awesome. Might get it at some point.

It looks good for a side-scroller. I'm not really interested in purchasing it, but if a friend had it or once the price drops a bunch I would play it.

Same here. I had it before, but honestly I'm not into it that much. I guess it would be something that would be nice just for casual gaming.

Strider.... might get it some day. I'm already getting pummeled with Bayonetta on PS3, so yeah, I'll reserve this on my list. But looks cool though.

Hahahahha... you and me both. Bayonetta just has my butt pounded all the time. Anyway, yeah, maybe when it's on sale, I'll get this.

Bayonetta. Miss that game. Well as for this game I think I'll get it as well, but still depending on the price.

Could we get Bayonetta over to Xbox One. That was one of the best fighting games that I've played in my life.

I hope not. I want to see this go next gen. Bayonetta will do well on Xbox One. But yeah strider sure brings back the memories.

Well, Nintendo FUNDED the sequel. You can't really argue with that. Even the developer said that if you want it on PS4 or Xbox One, ask Nintendo for it. Also, consider that SEGA cancelled the sequel. Nintendo stepped in and paid for it. So while it'll be nice, well, the sequels stays with Nintendo. As for the first game, you can buy it now on PS3 or 360. As for a remake though, well, SEGA has to consider it. So it's a lose-lose chance if you want Bayonetta's sequel on other systems. Had Nintendo not done their part, then the sequel would remain shrouded in darkness. i know, not what you wanted to hear but that's how it is.

True. Nintendo SAVED Bayonetta from being in the gutter. At least we're getting a sequel. I wouldn't mind buying a Wii U just for the sequel. And besides, I wanna see Bayonetta's librarian look more!

Yeah, you're right. Nintendo HOLDS the rights to the sequel. You can't beg the developers; you need to beg Nintendo.
