College Xbox cnnnection !

Hi guys,

ths is my firt post so hope ths is in the right section but basicly,

on my campus (uk) xbox live is banned because it makes the internet slow, however do you think if i connected it through my laptop (no wirless adaptop in xbox) it would work ? i know how to do this as its how i normally connnect it at home howeveri am going to take my xbox up next week, if this wont work then could you please tell me hoe if possible,

the network is open and you dont have to register devices

Hello Jordan,

Thanks for posting your question and welcome to the forums!

In regards to you wirelessly connecting, as long as you are still connecting through their Internet, you will not be able to get on. But that might not be the circumstance. Needless to say, it's worth a shot. What do you got to lose!?
