Xbox One DigitalFoundry Dead Rising 3 XB1 FPS Test

Looks like our friends over at DigitalFoundry were able to pick up a copy of Dead Rising 3 and play around with it. The video shows quite a bit of different things, and personally I think it looks amazing. It's a bit unfortunate that the game only runs at 30 FPS, but it's too be expected with just how much is actually happening on screen. The large, open enviroments, and the MASSIVE hordes of zombies is very impressive. While the FPS does dip a few times down into the low 20's, it looks to be mainly from the particles coming off the vehicle. For the most part though, it looks incredibly smooth. As with everything though, we also have future patches and optimizations to look forward to which will improve the game. I'm sure some of us remember how bad Dead Rising 2 was at launch. Can't wait.
