Return to Ostagar was the third DLC released for Dragon Age: Origins. Released on January 13, 2010, Return to Ostagar included the addition of the Ostagar area, new items, a second chance to recruit Dog, and an additional one achievement worth 25 gamer points.
This guide does contain some story, character, and location spoilers, so please read with caution if you are concerned about those.
Return to Ostagar Achievement Guide
In War, Victory (25G)
Defeated the ogre that killed King Cailan.
Once you’ve downloaded the Return to Ostagar DLC you will have a new location on your map: Bann Loren. Travel to Bann Loren and speak with the survivor of Ostagar. He’ll tell you about the key to King Cailan’s chest that he left. Travel to Ostagar and fight through the darkspawn as you gather the pieces of Cailan’s armor, Duncan’s weapons, and the contents of his chest. Make your way through the lower level of the Tower Ishal, through the tunnel, and onto the battlefield. You’ll see an Ogre in the middle of the field. The fight is no different than any other Ogre fight, so kill it and the achievement is yours.
