Xbox One Fallout 4 -- Explosive expert

Have any of you put points towards the 'Explosive expert' or whatever it's called in V.A.T.S.? It's the one where one star makes explosives 25% more powerful, two stars makes explosives 50% more powerful, etc., all the way up to four stars. What I'm wondering is if it makes a noticeable difference in how many enemies a single explosive kills or how much damage a single enemy takes from a single explosive.

I know what you're talking about. I haven't started applying any points towards it, though. I was looking at it recently but wound up putting a point towards armor mods instead. Maybe someone else can chime in because I'd like to know if it's worth the points as well.

Yes, and it is kind of sweet. It really depends on how well you use them, but it can be seriously ridiculous at times. It isn't something you upgrade unless the rest of your strategy meshes with it though, but definitely a noticeable boost in damage
