Hello all, hoping someone can help me here. I have an Xbox One S and I am having extremely confusing latency issues. I have a great router, everyone in my house gets good connection except for my room. I live in a 2 story house, I'm on the corner bedroom and my router is dead center on the first floor. I recently bought a TP-Link AC750 Extender because I was getting latency on our wife signal (around 85-95MS). I've restarted my router, tested all my connections, and I'm out of options. My wifi alone was around 90ms without the extender. With the extender, it improved to 45ms but I was still getting serious lag in games (frozen in time, people disappearing in front of me) so I tried to wire it into my extender using a 6 ft. LAN cable. Once I wired it in, I restarted my router and my xbox (hard reset). I am getting almost 150ms latency WITH the wired connection. It's actually better on the wifi. Everyone else in my house has great connection, and I'm not the only xbox player in the home. My little brother has never had issues with his xbox and his is an older model. I've owned my console about 2 years now. My question is, is it possible for the console itself to have internal issues that would prevent me from getting an impeccable signal? I have run out of options, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks All!
