How Long Have You Been Playing Xbox Live?

I believe my xbox live journey started when I was a freshman in high school (6 years ago) and it all started because of my best friend from Singapore.

I've had my xbox 360 for years, but when I was in the Philippines (initially XBL wasn't fully supported) my best friend brought his copy of Halo and he gave me his trial code that came with it. Awesome and needlessly to say we gamed on the social slayer playlist all night for as much as we could.
I don't regret it!
 
I haven't been a long, long time Xbox Live user, but I've been around for a little while. I got my first Xbox when Modern Warfare 2 came out, and I've been using Live since. I know I am a relative newcomer to Xbox, but man it feels like a good bit of time ago!

Yeah i started out with Xbox Live when i was high school too. I was at my peak in gaming when it came to high school. Luckily it did not affect my schoolwork. lol
 
I've been a Gold member for about 3 years now. Before then I was just a single player game kind of dude. But I quickly learned how much fun MP is on the 360. The biggest draw for me is the party chat. Me and my friends are always in a party together even if we're playing different games. It's like a nerd party very day lol :)
 
I bought my 360 like 4 years ago, and I've been on Xbox live on and off since then, but I use to play games online on a friends first gen Xbox even before then.
 
I bought my first Xbox 360 in 2007, didn't register at first just gamed solely on offline. Just switched over from the PS2 then so wasn't too care for online. As time passed, I registered for a Silver account for a couple of years before going Gold. Went Gold for a year and then switched back to Silver after it expired. Last year, I renewed my subscription for another year so overall, I've been on Gold for two years.
 
I bought xbox live when COD 4 first came out. Everyone I knew was playing it, so I needed it too. I was blown away at how much fun xbox live was, and had a great time. I honestly do prefer COD 4 to MW2, simply because of the memories.
 
I've been playing it for several years but I don't won it. I play it at a friend's house and it is plenty enough play time for me. I don't game all that much anymore so there was no point in me getting it.
 
I have been playing online since there has been the first halo. I remember when my uncle was that first one to introduce me to playing online. I will tell you that that day was the day that my eyes had been open to something that I think was the greatest thing that had ever happened to my life. Ever since that halo I have been online. To me though online gaming on the Xbox 360 console is really the smoothess online experience that I have ever had.
