Yes, I really did that. Yes, I spent a lot more time practicing that than other people. Yes, I am that zen when I play. No, you are not getting under my skin, and I'm ok with my performance right now. Yes, I am older now and have been playing with excellent minds for almost 2 decades and uncounted thousands of hours. Yes, I want to do well, who doesn't?

I'm the guy you find at the top of the leaderboard while maintaining a ridiculous demeanor that bothers people that take things more seriously than I. It's taken me quite a long time, but I'm proud to be that guy I set out to be. Didn't used to be...became. And now I'm kinda bored with it...

It's actually funny how there is so much psychology when it comes to online gaming. Someone who isn't as good as you gets their butt kicked, their mind immediately resorts to calling you a hacker or calling you names. I hated it in multiplayer FPS games, I was naturally good but my rank implied the opposite, so I ended up being kicked and banned from many games.

Some people resort to cheating, those are the people who need to understand that with enough time, effort, thinking and strategy - You can do well without cheating. I've invested thousands of hours into online games only to get banned for suspected cheating when the real reason for me doing well is investing time and being smart.

It's a shame it works that way, at least there are things like Major League Gaming, where skill is rewarded.

You gotta understand that's human nature to rewire your brain. Human nature is to admire, idolize, envy, hate or learn. If you are in the learning state of mind, it is very rare to fall into the other 4. You just absorb, day by day, and at the end of the week, you start to realize the reason they're mad -IS- the reason they're mad. It's because they spent all that time in a state of mind that doesn't promote absorption

Not until VR is here, no. I tasted the forbidden fruit of using vr for a week and now video games seem like cliche outdated technology, most new games that have a lot of work going into them are going to be VR releases
