For the upcoming Battlefield 4 game. I have (and many others who contribute) a list of weapons that we would like to see in Battlefield 4, this includes the weapons that is alright in Battlefield 3. Please take your time in reading this list as I will assure you, this will be massive.

These many weapons would surely make this game - game of the year!
 
I think this would ever happen in a video game there needs to be balance and it becomes almost impossible to balance everything when you have a list of weapons of that size. Sure it would be really nice and in a bigger picture it just wouldn't work.
 
actually with the ability to switch classes and tweek load outs it is not all that bad.

i can say from the beta i was in load outs a few times because i knew a tank was in an area alone taking a flag so i would switch up an rpg or c4. if i was running the tower i would have a certin gun/class i stuck with where other parts of the map i ran a different setup. it really does make a diffrence as you play.

Yes, I do agree what weapons should be available for every situation and they are you, I personally just don't think you need to have 6 weapons for each situation like 6 different rpg launchers. 3 would more than enough ( air, land w/ tracking and one without tracking ).
 
sorry man im a little lost with your post.

the beta was a bit dry on weapon choices. i am/was fine with that.

the thing with a bunch of weapons is how they shoot. some do hip fire better than others. some rpg's are tracking and some are not. with the ability to unlock addons scopes grips and such you can alter some of the fireing traits like muzzle rise and such.

i dont think the game needs 400 guns by any means.. but a good choice of normal guns is fine with me. the more the game has the more ill get lost with them. being able to unlock up to 6 per group was nice i guess. going from the scar to the carbine was a big difference and with addons became a great feeling gun in game.

one of the things that i found confusing was which addons i had unlocked or avaliable to me. i think withthe full game this will be easier to tell. i never played addons with the tank or added on all the stuff i unlocked but suposable it really changed how you used the tank. i just got really nasty with driving and firing it. i did have all the add ons unlocked in the beta tho..

i had unlocked a few guns and actually abandoned the factory preset guns and did use the addons on a few for hipfire/run and gun. i changed the scope out and did a muzzle at one point.

do we need 16rpgs no. is 3-5 ok sure. but they better not look the same.
do we need 15+ machine guns no but if they are diffrent and some are deadly accurate on a tripod holding ground while others are run and gun than sure ill take 15 and sort thru how they play.
