I just joined this forum tonight because of this question. I’ve been getting more and more serious in to gaming (not like streaming mixer to make money serious, but I want the most out my setup). I have a One S that I got less than a year ago. I’m looking to get a new/better monitor as my designated gaming screen. I’m torn though between two routes. 1) I keep my One S and get a good monitor (probably a 4K and letting the S upscale). 2) I jump on a used or new Black Friday sale One X AND a new monitor. Problem is I’m not in a position to get the X and monitor right now at the same time.
Is the upgrade to the X really worth it? Or would I been right as rain with just getting a good monitor for my One S.
In this question, I’m only asking about graphics. I know and understand the that X will out perform the S in loading time.
If it’s of any relevance, I play PubG (hardly), Black Ops 4, tomb raider, the Witcher 3. Mostly shooters and the occasional RPG
