New Console Gamer

Hi,

This summer I decided a gaming console would be ideal for me and for friends to come over. By coincidence, I saw the Xbox One will be released this fall. I've played Kinect and really liked it, but this will be my first console! Seems like I am one of few people starting out with the XB1 as their first console. (I play PC games: Minecraft, puzzle & MMOs.) Very happy to have a place to ask questions.
