Nintendo still hasn?t given up on Eternal Darkness for the Wii U | Wii U

It looks like Nintendo still hasn't given up on the cult classic game Eternal Darkness, as Nintendo recently filed for a new trademark of the game. Eternal Darkness was originally released on the GameCube in 2003 and received low sales but much critical acclaim. As for why Nintendo wants to keep the trademark, who knows. Maybe they could possibly be hoping to release an HD remake of the game sometime in the near future.

I would say Eternal Darkness was one of my favorite games on the Gamecube and I played it quite a bit when I actually got it, though it took me a while to beat it because I found it hard at first strangely. While I would much prefer a properly made sequel to the game I guess I would not mind if they remade the game as long as it was done well. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what Nintedo does with the game.
