No chance of TimeSplitters 4 on Xbox One or PS4 | TechRadar

If anyone was looking forward to playing the fourth entry in the Timesplitters series on next gen systems, it looks like that will never happen now. Developer of the series Steve Ellis has stated that while working at his company, Free Radical Design, it has been almost impossible to sell a potential fourth game to publishers and despite massive fan support, it doesn't look like anything will change.

That's really to bad. I played Timesplitters 2 obsessively with my friends back in the day. Playing 4 person multiplayer on Timesplitters 2 could make your eyes bleed it was so fast paced. Eventually we moved on to Unreal Tournament...
