im new to xbox and i bought a xbox 360 slim for $50.00 and the system was working fine. then the next hour no power going to the xbox. i did nptice the power brick had a green light at first now it does not. the question i have is that my power brick specs are,
Input Voltage:
AC 100-127V 47-63Hz.
Output voltage:
DC 135W 10.83 A.

can i use another one like.
Input: AC 100-245V~2A, 50-60Hz
Output: DC 12V 10.83A(10.83A).5Vsb-1A
Power: 135W

it has same watts 135. but the ac voltage is different.

any input will be helpful. i just dont want to get the wrong one and mess up my system.

thanks

Glad i found this useless website..

Well, if we had an answer for you, it would have been posted. I wouldn't try using the other power supply, although you got your system for $50, so you don't have much to lose. If it's broken, why don't you try contacting Microsoft and order a new one or look on Craigslist for a broken system that someone is selling for parts only?

Well this is an old but hopefully useful post for others who might have a similar problem, dnt use it as you could permanently damage your system, try buying an official xbox power outlet from ebay... htey're like $12 over there
