So, now that the game has been out for quite a while, I'm a bit curious as to what everyone else's opinion is on it. Personally, I'm quite let down for several reasons, in which I'll go over. I won't make this too long though. First and Foremost, I've loved the Campaign's in Call of Duty. I know most people don't even bother touching them these days, but I always did. The campaign for Ghosts was INCREDIBLY lazy. Several times I was just broken out of the immersion due to terrible voice acting, segments that didn't make sense, and just overall lack of "Wow" factor. Not to mention that there's a video floating around in which the first mission from Ghosts uses an exact clone-copy of the animation set from the last mission in Modern Warfare 2. I know it's common for games to use the same sets and things like that, but to so blatantly just copy over a new skin is very lazy. Other then being incredibly short and just very unfulfilling, not much else to say on the Campaign.

As for the Multiplayey, here is where I might get some Flack. Some people absolutely LOVE it, thinking it's the best new Call of Duty to be released, however I don't see it the same way. Ghosts' MP, as in the SP, feels incredibly rushed. The guns don't seem to have much difference in terms of accuracy/damage, and the kill streaks are incredibly underwhelming. Map design is god awful, since it doesn't follow the traditional 3 lane route, so just about every map encourages a slower, more defensive style of play which Call of Duty isn't known for in the slightest. Along with those, comes the lack of Dedicated Servers in which we were promised, yet didn't get again. Now, we're supposed to get them on ALL systems once the Next-Gen copies roll out, but I'm highly doubting it. The lack of Ground War is also another joke, seeing as there's no reason it shouldn't have been put in the game. The next-gen copies are rumored to have it, but that doesn't make any sense. Also, at launch, there was no Search and Destroy which was easily one of the best game modes and most played besides TDM and Domination. It wasn't until LATER that they had to patch it in.

I'm a bit disappointed that I spent $60 on this game and purchased it at launch. So much that I even went back the other day and picked up an old copy of Modern Warfare 2 for old time's sake. Surprisingly, there's still SEVERAL people who still play it, and I've had more fun with that game in the past 4 days I've owned it again, then I have since picking up Ghosts at launch.

Anyway, anyone else have their own thoughts on the game? Feel free to make your own statements and points, but remember that this is MY opinion. So I don't want to see any name calling or arguing, just your opinions.

While I enjoy the maps.....the latency issues are what drives me nuts. I cannot wait for the dedicated servers! The balancing of weapons seems to be ok for me. But if you asked me what I really thought....Id say its just another CoD.

So far, this felt as the sloppiest COD to me. Infinity Ward really did it for me this time. I had high hopes from Ghosts but it was all in vain.

Ghosts is an alright game, but compared to other CoD games it doesn't stand out. For example, I loved playing Black Ops 2, it really hit the spot for me. In Ghosts everything looks so dull in my opinion, the colors aren't really vibrant and appealing. Another thing that I don't like about the game is the prestige emblems. They all look similar and do not stand apart from one another. In previous Call of Duty games I was able to differentiate each different prestige emblem.
