The combination of a cute story with straight-forward, extremely rewarding gameplay makes up for the low production values of certain game elements. And, with lots of hidden goodies to find in each stage and drop-in/out local two-player, Tornado Outbreak is ultimately worth the investment.

Each level follows the exact same progression path, and this dull repetition ultimately makes what could have been a great tornado game nothing more than a funnel cloud.

It's cute enough, but this Katamari clone won't blow you away.

I enjoyed this game. It's the same concept as Beautiful Katamari, except instead of rolling things up, you demolish them (you are the tornado) to grow bigger and demolish bigger things. I never thought I would, but it really liked it. Simplistic, yet fun.
