Xbox 360 XGD3
Hi, I remember reading this a little while back about Microsoft's new DRM protection XGD3 discs to be used on the 360. I know they already been implemented and rolled out sometime in 2011. I know the disc format was originally created for DRM protection from modded Xbox and i'm sure someone out their has already cracked it. Not the point of this thread (mods please do not delete). The reason i bring this up is because a buddy of mine was saying that if you have an original Xbox 360 system that XGD3 disc will ruin the laser of the console. Something about the more work and strain on the laser from the older consoles. What do you guys think. Anyone else had any problems like that? Think it was a good decision on Microsoft's part to change things up like this when it can hurt older systems?
