Not even that long ago Microsoft announce that in order for gamers to use the Xbox One's DVR feature that they would have to be subscribed to Xbox Live Gold, Sony has now announced that gamers will not have to pay to use the DVR feature of the PS$. This is something I definitely expected as it seems that Sony is getting into the habit of upstaging Microsoft whenever they get the chance.

Heheheh. Sony's marketing is basically "we're not doing any of the stupid crap Microsoft does" now, they just keep basically countering Microsoft's policies and crap. It's a great example of why competition is important.

This is immediately what I thought when I read the article. It seems that Sony is doing everything it can to keep momentum, and I hope consumers will reward them for it.
