Considering a PS3

We don't own a PS3 yet, but we've been thinking about buying one since we don't have a Blu-Ray DVD player. Given the fact that we already own an Xbox 360, do you think we should buy a PS3, or do you think we should just buy a Blu-Ray player?

I'd get the PS3-I use mine for Blu-rays all the time, but it's nice to have the PS3 to play the occasional Sony exclusive title like the Uncharted series, which I happen to love!

I do not really need a Blu-Ray DVD but we were thinking about this, right now leaning more towards the Xbox w/Kinect after being hassled into it. What am I really missing with Blu-Ray is what I want to know.
