I have a small addiction for rescuing 360 consoles on eBay. I purchased a controller with no power and tore it down. I found a missing component near the analogue stick labelled Q4. After inspecting the board further I notice 3 more components Q1,Q2 and Q3 all with the same numbers (E2N46) so I assume the missing one is the same. Does anyone know what this part is?

Did you figure this out? That's what I usually call a Schottky diode. Are you sure it belongs there? Was nothing was bouncing around inside the controller before you opened it? Compare with another controller to be sure it should be there.

I noticed something odd with the pads and touched them up with my iron and found a tiny leg still connected to the board. Also after checking about 8 controllers I didn't have the same board, this is a black controller and most of my others are white so different pcb, but I did manage to find only one picture online and it showed there was a component there. My next task will be to remove one of the others and test it out of circuit. I purchased a component identifier, closest part I could find on eBay "Transistor IRLML6402 Trpbf 01Ah Mosfet P-Channel Field Effect SOT-23 pi", and it works with no stick drift.
