Gamer Dies After Diablo III Marathon

I read a story about a Tiawanese teenager, 18 years old, that died after a 40 hours-long Diablo III computer gaming marathon. He was in a private room at an internet cafe, collapsed at some point, and was later found by a cafe employee. Why do people play games like this??? I know video and computer games are great, but the kid played for two days straight WITH NO BREAK!

I have actually participated in a few marathon days before but nothing that extreme. We took breaks and we still ate and drank, but we also played non-stop. When you are not stopping that is the problem right there and shows there is a serious issue. Gaming is good but you can not play your best when you are not taking care of yourself.
