Microsoft have apparently released the SDK for Kinect 2 for PC use - and have confirmed that it will be ported to PC.
Do you guys think this is a good idea, or will it just be a technologically superior webcam?
I use my PC on my TV with an Xbox 360 controller, and I would consider a Kinect 2 if developers were to incorporate it properly.
I still believe that Kinect could be used for much more, if they introduce a Wii style controller for character movement (not unlike Playstation Move). With the way it works now, you're kind of limited with what you can do.
Give me your thoughts on both these subjects.
