Xbox 360 Saints Row series vs. GTA series?

Please don't compare these two games just because they are open world games. GTA series is huge which is being developed by someone who has loads of cash and reserves.

It's less that they're both open world and more that you play as a criminal or member of a criminal element who runs around shooting, kidnapping, etc. so as to consolidate power. Also really nice cars and even nicer weapons (tanks are awesome).

Hands down I think GTA is better, but Saints Row is fun to play when I get tired of playing GTA. Am I the only one who gets GTA lagged? It's nice to have a change of pace and play something different or explore a new world.
