Xbox 360 Skyrim Dragonborn Achievements Guide

Dragonborn was the third downlaodable add-on for Skyrim. Released in December 2012, Dragonborn added an entire new island to the game of Skyrim, as well as a plethora of new content, including new quests, shouts, and weapons, as well as new craftable items.

The Dragonborn DLC included 10 possible achievements:

Achievements: Skyrim Dragonborn

OUTLANDER (20G)
Arrive on Solstheim.
Go to the Windhelm Docks and take the boat to Solstheim and the achievement is yours.

THE TEMPLE OF MIRAAK (20G)
Complete “The Temple of Miraak”
This is the first major quest in the Dragonborn quest line. It is available once you land on Solstheim.

• Travel to the Temple of Miraak. The temple is in the middle of the island. The quest indicator will help you locate it.
• Enter the temple and follow the markers to a Black Book.
• Read the Black Book, and after the cut scene the quest completes and the achievement is yours.

THE PATH OF KNOWLEDGE (20G)
Complete “The Path of Knowledge”
This is the fifth quest in the Dragonborn quest line, and is available after “Cleansing the Stones.”

• Travel to Tel Mithryn and speak to Neloth about the Black Books.
• Follow Neloth to Nchardak.
• Find the four control cubes within the flooded city to unlock the way further on. The quest indicator helps along the way.
• Enter the library and press the button to cause the Black Book to raise from the floor. Read it, the quest completes, and the achievement is yours.

AT THE SUMMIT OF APOCRYPHA (40G)
Complete “At the Summit of Apocrypha”
This is the final quest in the Dragonborn quest line and is available after “The Gardener of Men.”

• Read the Black Book “Waking Dreams.”
• Continue through the chapters of the book until you reach chapter 6. Defeat the two seekers by the word wall and use it to learn the final word of Dragon Aspect.
• Use the Bend Will shout on Sahrotaar to force him to let you ride.
• Defeat Miraak. You will have to defeat him 4 times before he finally dies completely. Upon his death you will receive 10+ dragon souls and can loot his body for his armor and weapons. The quest also completes upon his death, awarding the “At the Summit of Apocrypha” achievement.

DRAGON ASPECT (20G)
Learn all 3 words of Dragon Aspect.
One word is found in the Temple of Miraak, another in Raven Rock Mine, and the third is obtained at the location of the final battle with Miraak. Learn all three and the achievement is yours!

HIDDEN KNOWLEDGE (40G)
Lean the secrets of 5 black books.
There are 7 total black books scattered across Solstheim. A few will be found during the main Dragonborn quest line, but others will need to be searched for. Their locations are:

• Epistolary Acumen: in Nchardak, you’ll find it during the quest “The Path of Knowledge.”
• Filament and Filigree: in Kolbjorn Barrow, you’ll find it during the quest “Unearthed.”
• The Hidden Twilight: in Tel Mithryn.
• The Sallow Regent: in White Ridge Barrow.
• The Winds of Change: in Bloodskal Barrow, you’ll find it during the quest “The Final Descent.”
• Untold Legends: in Benkongerike.
• Waking Dreams: in Temple of Miraak, you’ll find it during the main quest line.

Find and complete a “reading” of 5 of these and the achievement is yours.

STALHRIM CRAFTER (20G)
Craft an item out of Stalhrim.
You must complete the quest “A New Source of Stalhrim,” given by Deor in the Skall Village after completing “The Fate of the Skaal” (you may have to wait a few days and return to the village). After completing the quest you are taught to craft stalhrim weapons and armor. You will need a smithing skill of at least 80, and have the Ebony Smithing perk. You can buy stalhrim off the smith in the Skall Village, or search for it on your own. Create 1 item and the achievement is yours.

DRAGONRIDER (20G)
Tame and ride 5 dragons.
During the main quest line you will learn all three words to the Bend Will Shout. Once you have all three, use a full shout on any dragon to force it to land. Approach the dragon and activate it to ride it around the sky. The dragon flies on its own, you simply control where its attacks are aimed. Ride 5 dragons and the achievement is yours.

RAVEN ROCK OWNER (20G)
Own a house in Raven Rock.
You will need to complete “The Final Descent,” “March of the Dead,” and “Served Cold.”

• Enter Raven Rock Mine and speak with Crescius to begin “The Final Descent.”
• Travel south from Raven Rock until you see a man fighting large Ash Spawn creatures. Help him kill them and the quest “March of the Dead” will begin.
• After you’ve completed “March of the Dead” and “The Final Descent,” Veleth will tell you to speak with Adril Arano. The quest “Served Cold” begins upon doing so.

Complete “Served cold to receive the house and the achievement is yours.

SOLSTHEIM EXPLORER (30G)
Discover 20 locations on the island of Solstheim.
You’ll get this through the course of the Dragonborn quests. Just make sure to run towards the large icons on your compass until the place pops up as discovered. Find 20 locations and the achievement is yours!
