Xbox One Why does Microsoft insist to include the Kinect in the Xbox One?

I love the Kinect. I liked the first version and I'm sure that I'll enjoy the second. It's been a great addition to the unit, in my opinion. I have never understood the animosity towards it or the games. The presence of Kinect doesn't render a controller obsolete. From what they've done with just the exercise and dance games, lets me know that what they will add to the "core" games will be amazing.
 
If I was the head of the Xbox division , I would state "We will never create a bundle without Kinect , why ? cause our team should always be appreciated and the team behind the Kinect 2.0 worked hard to create there vision so we don't care about people bashing Microsoft but don't bash the team behind the technology"
