Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, you have to be fast in regards to getting new game systems. Most folks purchased their pre-order months ago. The eleventh hour is always iffy.

I waited a bit later than I should have, but was able to get my pre-order in 2nd round at Walmart the beginning of August. I'm guaranteed a system on 11/22.
