Xbox 360 Avatar items don't appear

Avatar items don't appear on my profile image.

Paid 250C for a Riddler cane, only time I can see it, is if I log into my account and go into profile settings, I can add or remove it, save just fine.

But back to the home screen I don't have it, others don't see it????????????

I've run into this before, but it kind of just fixed itself. I'm also interested in an answer just in case it happens to me again...

I'm not sure but you could go to your downloads and reinstall the item and then see if it will show up.
