Xbox 360 Best game of the generation?

Call me crazy but to me of all the games of the Xbox 360/PS3 generation Red Dead Redemption was my favourite, definitely preferred it to any GTA game or anything Rockstar has put out or any other big AAA titles. Just the uniqueness of the environment, time in which it was sent and the issues it examined really struck me in a good way.

I'd say Red Dead Redemption is one of the best games of the generation. Dark Souls would be my "best of the generation".

GTA V was the best to me and was the perfect game to put a stamp on the generation.

I can see GTA V being considered the final stamp. Even though there's a lot of games left to come out, GTA V is kind of one of those gold standard games for the generation as far as gameplay and story is concerned. Plus it's on both consoles.

 

[Outrun]

Best game of the entire generation is a hard one. I want to go the easy route and say a Bethesda game, but I kinda know it's a Rockstar game. The thing is that the late PS2/GC/Xbox era and the entire PS3/360/Wii era was defined by games with huge explorable worlds and memorable adventures.
