Buy 2 get one free Xbox One games?

Recently, Target and Amazon both announced a "Buy 2 get one free" deal for PS4 launch titles. This is an excellent deal. I can't recall if this has ever been done before for NEW games. I was wondering if there are any rumors out there about the same being done for the One. It seems Sony is really looking to win out of the gate with price incentives. The console being $100 less, and now a free launch game.

I plan on picking up one game with the One, but a deal like this would change my mind. Would you spend an extra $60 for two more games?

Not to my knowledge yet, however, we do have over a week to go. It will be interesting to see if they and other retailers follow suit for the XB1.

From what I have been reading online is that target is doing a buy 2 get 1 free on all platforms which includes Xbox one... Though when I goto the website on my phone I am not seeing the small text for that offer under Xbox one games... Maybe call your local store and see if they are doing it in store.

I was on the Target website before and the buy 2 for 1 seems to include every system, even the Wi, 360, except the Xbox One.

I have not seen anything on Amazon offering 2 for 1 on any system.

Yea my guess is we will have to wait until next week to maybe see deals like this.. I am sure gamestop does not like this deal as they will lose their preorders I'm sure.

Although, I don't need any more games, I'm sure I can find two more to add to my collection for the free one... lol!

I'm perfectly ok going digital. I do enjoy picking up games in stores, but downloading is so much more convenient.

This sale started for the Xbox One on Sunday. I already took advantage. Unfortunately it's only for Target and the only games they offer in the deal are Battlefield 4. CoD: Ghost, and Fighter Within

Are you sure you ordered the Xbox One versions ? I have been there a couple times and never found anything for the Xbox One 2 for 1.

Shoot, that's a pretty good deal! Knowing how expensive i bet the games will be when xbox is first launched.

True, but a free game is a free game and I was always going to buy COD and BF4. Way I see it I can sell it online make make a $60 profit.

I will probably get both as well, and anything thrown in is a bonus. Wasn't in any way criticizing your decision to pull the trigger on that one. Just wishing it was buy any 2, get any 1 free.

If any of these places turn out to offer 2-for-1 deals, I'll definitely be taking them up on it and probably buying 4 games to get 2 free. However, I absolutely DESPISE shopping in stores around this time of year, so if it's one of those "in-stores only" type things, I'll just pass on it.
