It has a strong narrative connection to the original game, but the sense that your previous choices matter isn't as strong as we'd have liked. I still miss the old companions, but the new characters are just as interesting once you get to know them.

This was actually a decent game. But the problem lies with the developer, Bioware. Just like with all their other games, they downgrade sequels more and more to fit the mass audience. If Dragon Age 2 stayed closer to what origins was, I'd be a happy camper.
