The Stone Prisoner was one of two of the first DLC released for Dragon Age: Origins. Released on November 3, 2009, The Stone Prisoner included the addition of a new character, Shale, two new areas, and an additional two achievements worth 50 gamer points.

This guide does contain some story, character, and location spoilers, so please read with caution if you are concerned about those.

Completed “The Golem in Honnleath.”
This quest is automatically added to your quest log upon downloading The Stone Prisoner DLC. A new location, Sulcher’s Pass, will be added as well. Travel to Sulcher’s Pass and speak with the merchant there who will direct you to a magical object located in the town of Honnleath. Travel there and fight off the darkspawn and you’ll find Shale in the center of town. Speak with the people in town until you find someone that will help you release Shale. Once you’ve released him, speak with Shale and accept him into your party. Once you do the quest completes and the achievement is yours.

Completed “A Golem’s Memories.”
For this you will need to have completed the quest “The Anvil of the Void” and destroyed the Anvil. Once you’ve crowned a king, return to the party camp and speak with Shale. His memories will start to return as you speak with him and he will send you to a new location: Cadash Thaig. Travel to Cadash Thaig and complete the quest by fighting the darkspawn until you reach the Golem Monument. Once you get Shale there he will remember everything and the achievement is yours.
