Below are the achievements for Dragon's Dogma, along with the number of achievement points you’ll receive and a summary on how to get each achievement.

Dragon's Dogma Achievement List

The Patron (15)
Helped Madeleine open her shop.
After defeating the Hydra at the start of the game, speak to Madeleine at the Inn in Cassardis. She will ask you to escort her to the Encampment. If you do so successfully, she will ask you for 1000 gold to set up her own business. Give it to her and the achievement will unlock.

The Coin Collector (30)
Earned a total of 10,000,000G
The gold count is cumulative, so you are likely to earn this achievement during your second play-through. The game counts all the gold you have ever held, so it is not a must that you earn all these at a go. You will find a lot of gold by defeating the bosses in the Everfall post-game. Other items like weapons and armor can also be sold for gold.

The Ever-Turning Wheel (50)
Completed the adventure a second time
After finishing your first play-through, select ‘Load Game’ and start New Game+. If you have been successful, the Prologue is skipped at the beginning. You don’t have to do this is NG+, but it is highly recommended as you will find the game to be much easier the second time. You will be able to use all your stats and equipment, the map locations you had discovered before will be there, and you can now purchase port crystals for traveling.

The Explorer (35)
Visited 150 locations
You will unlock this achievement naturally as you pursue The Hero and The Laborer achievements. Ensure you explore every section of all the caves and buildings. If you have already done the Everfall in your first play-through, the achievement will be carried over to your second play-through.

The Vagabond (20)
Visited 100 locations
You will unlock this achievement naturally as you pursue The Hero and The Laborer achievements. Ensure you explore every section of all the caves and buildings. If you have already done the Everfall in your first play-through, the achievement will be carried over to your second play-through.

The Tourist (10)
Visited 50 locations
You will unlock this achievement naturally as you pursue The Hero and The Laborer achievements. Ensure you explore every section of all the caves and buildings. If you have already done the Everfall in your first play-through, the achievement will be carried over to your second play-through.

Into the Frontier Caverns (15)
Entered the southwestern caves
You can access the Southwestern caves through a hole in the ground in the Shadow Fort. You will get to this place by speaking to Ser Maximillian during the Wyrm Hunt quests. Choose “Rout a Monster Infestation” and after defeating the 2 Cyclops in this quest, you will see many holes in the ground. Find the largest hole to the right, near the building at the back and enter it. Follow the tunnel until you find the location box at the top. The achievement will unlock at this point.

Into the Manse (20)
Entered the duke's manse
You can only enter the duke’s manse during the “Duchess in Distress” quest. Start by speaking to Mirabelle when you first enter the Duke’s castle in Gran Soren. She will be standing in the gardens or the first room of the castle. She will ask you to do the “Arousing Suspicion” quest. After you are through with that, continue with the main quest line until you have done the “Reward and Responsibility”. After that, you will find Mirabelle outside the castle by the stairs, and she will give you a set of armor to enable you to access the manse. Follow the quest marker to the Blighted manse and put on the armor to enter. The achievement will then unlock.

Into Soulflayer Canyon (15)
Entered the Soulflayer Canyon
You can enter the Soulflayer Canyon through two entrances; the west entrance near the Greatwall, and the east entrance near the Catacombs. You can access either of these anytime, and some side quests will require you to travel there.

Into the Ancient Quarry (10)
Entered the ancient quarry
This is part of the main story quest, “The WyrmKing’s Ring”. Find the north entrance of the Ancient Quarry southwest of Gran Soren and enter it to unlock the achievement.

Into Dripstone Cave (10)
Entered the azure caverns
There are two routes you can follow to get to the azure caverns. First, you can enter through the well in Cassardis. Alternatively, go past the encampment and take a path leading to the left. You will find a wooden door that will take you to the azure caverns. Either route will unlock the achievement. There are also some side quests that will require you to enter the azure caverns.

Affinity and Beyond (10)
Raised a person's affinity to the maximum
There are several ways through which you can raise the affinity of any person who is a non-pawn. The easiest way is by giving them presents. Speak with them by pressing [B But], and choose the present you want to give them by pressing [X But]. Some items raise certain people’s affinity more than others so make sure you check the details of the item to see who it will benefit most.

The Escort (10)
Acted as a reliable travel companion
You can accept escort requests from the notice board in the Gran Soren Inn. These involve providing protection to an NPC as the two of you travel to another location on the map. The Mercedes Marten escort quest is easy because, unlike most other NPCs, she carries a weapon and armor, so she will help you fight off any dangers. It is also advisable to travel during the day and stick to the roads. You can also do this and avoid any harm by using a portal crystal, which you place near the escort’s destination.

The Philanthropist (15)
Gave 50 presents
All you have to do to get this achievement is to give 50 presents to any non-pawn NPCs. If you complete “Bone of Contention”, you will receive 60 skulls, which you can give as presents amongst several other items. Just press [B But] to speak to a non-pawn NPC and then [X But] to give them a present. You can give all the 50 presents to one non-pawn NPC if you want.

A Queen's Regalia (20)
Dressed a male party member in women's clothing
Follow the streets to the right as you enter the city and go to The Black Cat. Speak to the owner and select ‘Buy’. A full set of women’s clothing costs 6,200 G. Equip it to either yourself or your pawn as long as either of you is male. If you are both female, you can go to the Rift and hire a male pawn to use for this quest. Once you equip him with the Lady’s clothing, the achievement will unlock.

Well Equipped (30)
Obtained 350 pieces total of weapons and armor
You have to find or purchase 350 pieces of weapons and armor in order to unlock this achievement. Any duplicates will be counted as one, but this should still be quite easy. Make sure you search every area you enter carefully and buy every weapon and piece of armor at every vendor that you come across. You should also complete all the pre-planned quests and many of the notice board quests. This should give you enough gold to buy what you need. You will most likely unlock this achievement during your second play-through.

The Artisan (10)
Combined two materials to make an item
This is very easy, and you can achieve it in the Prologue. Ensure that you have a Flask of Oil. Open your inventory; go to your lantern and press [A Button] to add the oil to the lantern. You can also do this with several other items. Select the item by pressing [A But] and then choose ‘Combine’ and you will be given the items you can combine it with.

The Knave (15)
Obtained a forgery
The forgeries can only be obtained by speaking to the owner of The Black Cat in Gran Soren. You cannot unlock the achievement using standard items, but you can get it without spending any gold. Find a ladder outside The Black Cat and use it to climb a rooftop and then go to the top of The Black Cat. You will find a room with an open doorway and a chest inside it. Inside the chest, you will find the Wakestone Shard, which you should pick up to unlock the achievement.

The Savior (10)
Used a Wakestone to restore the dead to life
You can either find a full Wakestone or collect three Wakestone shards and combine them into one. Finding a full Wakestone is quite hard, but if you defeat Ur-Dragon you will be rewarded with 20 of them. Defeating other bosses in the Everfall will also earn you some full Wakestones. You can buy the shards from The Black Cat and other locations around Gransys.

Inhuman Resources (20)
Changed your main pawn's vocation
Start by speaking to the owner of the Inn in Gran Soren. Select ‘Change Vocation’ and use [RB But] to select your pawn. If you want to give your pawn one of the advanced vocations (Ranger, Warrior, or Sorcerer), they have to reach level 10 first. You are required to spend 1000 Discipline in order to unlock this achievement. You will earn the Disciplines by killing enemies, and you should have enough by the time you get to Gran Soren.

The Captain (15)
Enlisted a large number of pawns
You can find a pawn walking around, speak to it, and enlist it. Alternatively, you can use one of the Rift Stones located all over Gransys to enter The Rift. To avoid repeating the process of recruiting pawns one-by-one, go to the Options menu and select ‘Offline Mode’. You don’t need to send gifts and messages to pawns when you hire pawns offline.

Foreign Recruit (5)
Enlisted a pawn to your party from beyond the rift
All you have to do is to enter The Rift using one of the many Rift Stones you will come across. Once inside, just choose any pawn, enlist it and the achievement will unlock.

Local Recruit (5)
Directly enlisted a pawn to your party
Here, you are required to enlist a pawn while you are outside The Rift. You can find the pawns in Grand Soren or along the roads as you travel. If you come across one, press [B But] to speak to it and then choose ‘Enlist’.

The Veteran (35)
Defeated 3,000 enemies
It is possible to run around Gransys during your first playthrough and kill enough enemies to unlock this achievement, but it will most likely come naturally during your second playthrough. All your kills are carried over to NG+, and you can check in your Adventure Log to see your progress.

The Specialist (40)
Learned all the skills of a single vocation
To earn this achievement, you have to purchase all the Core Skills, Weapon Skills and Arguments for one vocation, either for yourself or your pawn. This is only possible after you have reached the top most rank for a vocation and accumulated lots of Discipline points.

Human Resources (20)
Changed your vocation
Speak to the owner of the Inn in Gran Soren and select ‘Change Vocation’. You get three extra options that are not available to the pawns, but only to the Arisen; Assassin, Mystic Knight and Magic Archer. These three are hybrid classes, and you need to be level 10 to get them. The hybrid classes cost 1,500 Discipline, while the standard and advanced classes cost 1,500 Discipline.

The Hero (40)
Completed all pre-planned, non-notice board quests
This should not be too hard since this achievement carries over to NG+, so you don’t have to repeat the quests you completed in your first play-through during your second play-through. You need to plan well and read ahead to ensure you complete all the 53 quests in this game in order to unlock this achievement.

The Laborer (20)
Completed 50 notice board quests
You can complete this achievement easily in your first play-through. However, it is better to use your first play-through mainly for non-escort requests. Most of these notice board requests involve cumulative tasks. During your second play-through, it will be easier to complete the escort requests because you can purchase port-crystals for escorting the NPCs quickly and safely. You should check the notice boards frequently at these locations; Cassardis Inn, the Encampment, Gran Soren Inn, Gran Soren Pawn Guild and Gran Soren Alehouse.

Secret Achievements

Dragon Forged (30)
Strengthened equipment in wyrmfire
You should get this achievement easily. Whichever equipment you have when you defeat the Dragon boss at the end of the game will be dragon forged on the spot. You can also get this earlier, if you can defeat a Wyvern, Wyrm or Drake. Equipment with level 3 enhancement stand a better chance of being dragon forged.

The Messiah (50)
Defeated the Ur-Dragon
Your first opportunity to fight the Ur-Dragon is in the Everfall (after you defeat the dragon boss). Enter the Chamber of Lament, 7 chambers down. If you don't want to fight him here, you can find him in NG+. There will be a port-crystal on the beach in Cassardis which can be used to get to him.

Serpents' Bane (40)
Defeated a drake, wyrm, and wyvern
You need to defeat a drake, wyrm and wyvern. You can find the drake any time in the game near Lake Hardship, south of the Shadow Fort. You can also find it post-game in Conqueror’s Sanctuary, Miner’s Hut or the Chamber of Fate in the Everfall. The wyrm can only be found post-game, in the Chamber of Distress in the Everfall, or the Watergod’s Altar. You will also find the wyvern only post-game. There are two at Gran Soren’s southern gate at dusk.

Eye Contact (30)
Defeated an evil eye
You will find the Evil Eye post game in the Everfall. If you grab a ledge, it will enable you to enter the Chamber of Confusion. Once there, you are supposed to defeat the Evil Eye so that you unlock the achievement, and the rest of the chambers in the Everfall. Make sure you don’t get caught in its tentacles.

Headshunter (30)
Defeated a hydra or archydra
You can choose to defeat either a hydra or archydra for this achievement. During post game, accept the notice board quest “A Challenge” in Cassardis and find a hydra in the Frontier Caverns.
