Xbox 360 Error message - "The Kinect Sensor needs to restart ((80000010))"- what it means

If your sensor is busy, you’ll have to wait 90 seconds before turning off your console or playing a game.

You might see the following error message:

The Kinect Sensor needs to restart (80000010)

After waiting for 90 seconds, if you still see this message on screen, you’ll have to fix the error.

Here’s how:

• First, turn off your console.
• Check out the temperature of the sensor. Very low temperature might cause the error. If you find it very cold, wait for the sensor to reach room temperature (approximately 70 °F or 21 °C).
• Finally turn on the console.

If the problem still exists, you should contact the Xbox support.
