If you see this error message on your screen and the light of your sensor is red, you’ll need to place the sensor on a level surface and then try again.
Here is how:
- First, turn off your Xbox 360 Console.
- You’ll have to ensure that the Kinect sensor is positioned on a flat, level surface.
- Now turn on your console to check out whether the problem still occurs.
- This problem might also occur if the sensor is very hot or cold. If so, you’ll have to wait for the sensor to reach room temperature (approximately 70 °F or 21 °C), and then try using the sensor again.
