Which Call of Duty was your favorite?

I Still think the first Modern Warfare was my favorite! It dragged me in more then any of the other games. I loved the maps and the guns! The second Modern Warfare was cool but no where near as cool as the first one. Wonder if anyone still plays the first one, talking about it makes me want to play!

We like the first one, but play black ops the most. Love those zombies!

I absolutely love Black Ops. That game was my first Call of Duty game for me. I had such a fun time dropping people with the AK-47 and Famas. Also, zombies was a really fun addition. They pumped out some great zombie DLC maps.

Easily Black Ops and COD4. I think COD4 got me hooked on FPS's and was the best of its time. Black Ops is probably my best game, stats wise and general enjoyment.
I think MW2 gets a high five from me though. Although it was insanely unbalanced and glitchy especially at the beginning it was so fun. The cheapness of that game is unparalleled but somehow holds a spot in my heart that labels this title as a classic.

I've racked up well over 1000 hours in Black Ops. I'd say that's got to be my favorite due to how much time and effort I put into having fun and building memories.

I like the CoD4: Modern Warfare the most.
Personally I think it is a great game, after that they went a bit down in my opinion.
However I still play Black Ops 2 from time to time, it is fine however MW is still better.

Of course, COD 4. That was the best COD game that ever came out. The series went downhill since then.

Man, I just couldn't get into Black Ops at all. I didn't like the maps, I didn't like the guns. I even played with my same friends. One of them told me after I said I didn't like it that he knew I was going to say that too!

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who still thinks COD4 Modern Warfare was by far the best one ever!

I'll admit, I still miss playing WaW. Am I the only one out there that loved that game? I liked the compact maps and just the whole feel of it.

i have only played mw and bo2 both seem to be 2 diffrent games and as much as i poke fun at cod both are actually decent for what they are.

the mw3 iirc is fun to play the missions and really not all that bad. never played multiplayer if their is even one. but i did enjoy it a bit.

the cod bo2 is a good multiplayer game for what itt is.. its the first one with elite pushed(never used the elite) and it is a highly competative game which i think is why it/cod catches so much love/hate.. its like madden only not 1 on 1 and not a 45 min or so game.. its fast paced 10 minuted with 8 on 8 iirc... it makes for some dramatic times and can be addictive and fun in its own right. the story mode is decent.. i just started playing story mode.

so all in all i like both cod games for what they deliver. i came in a bit late and mw3 was a used game given to me to play proably 2-3 years ago. so i cant say how it was in its hay day.

The first Black Ops is my favorite, and CoD 4 is a close second. The multiplayer mode in Black Ops is my favorite, because the guns actually have recoil and the perks are balanced for a CoD game (save for Second Chance Pro). I also think the maps are consistently well-designed and it has many of my favorites. I also like the Zombies mode the best, because it has more polish than the W@W version, and more consistent quality than Black Ops 2.

CoD 4 was the last CoD to innovate, but the Treyarch games have been bolder since then.

I'll admit, I still miss playing WaW. Am I the only one out there that loved that game? I liked the compact maps and just the whole feel of it.

Wow, I really think you may be the only one! I couldn't stand WaW! It made me never want to play COD again! I did have one map I enjoyed on it however... Wasn't that the one with Dome? I like that map, but it was the only one...

The first Modern Warfare had the best single player in my opinion. Say what you will about the series as a whole, that first MW changed the FPS genre forever. My favorite for multi-player is Black Ops. I loved the maps and loadouts and spent way too many hours playing! I remember getting my XBL statement email one month and seeing how many hours I played Black Ops. I thought it had to be a mistake lol.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare was, and still is, my favorite Call of Duty. It was the first one with a modern setting and it did a lot of things right, which ended up making the whole multiplayer experience really good. From that one forward, the thing escalated pretty quickly to the bad side, specially with the handling of DLC.
