Xbox 360 Follows the same as previous?

I have played previous Quake games, but I haven't found Quake 4 yet (though, to be honest, I haven't looked yet). Is it enough like the other Quake games to make it worth purchasing?

If you enjoyed the previous Quake games, you might like this one, but it's find it out to be less good than the others, but maybe that is just my nostalgia goggles too tight on me.
