Hello,
I have tried searching and everything I read does not help.
My son had an xbox one controller and a headset mic. The headset mic will work and then stop, work then stop. Usually it is when he switches a controller.
As of two days ago his headset works (he can hear) but his mic will not work. I have hooked his mic up to my phone and computer and mic works there so it is just with the xbox.
I have recycled the xbox, made sure the jack is plugged in and clean, updated the firmware on the controller, tried different controllers, assigned the controller to his profile, and checked all the volume is up. Still nothing.
Before I go out and buy a new xbox controller or headset can anyone recommend anything else??
I dont know if it has something to do with other people signing on to his xbox (I make sure he signs them out) or if I am missing a simple step but it is just weird how it will work then stop and then work again or how the mic works on a phone but not the xbox.
