HoN vs LoL. What do you choose?

I've played Dota, HoN and LoL. The only game out of the three that I still play to this day is HoN. I like it better than LoL, whose graphics are a bit cartoonish for my taste. What are your thoughts? It seems LoL is more famous than HoN though. Could anyone explain why? just for arguments sake.

LoL for me. I don't think the graphics are cartoonish, I think it's fine for people of all ages to play it. It has a easier playstyle, but difficult to master which is something I like. Not to mention they shed the light on eSports, and started funding pro teams. Look where they are now. MOBA's like Smite, Dota 2, HoN have started picking the crumbs from LoL, and deciding to do the same LoL does. They have much more popularity, they interact with their users, and have frequent updates. I would say LoL is the most popular and fun MOBA game at the moment.
