How long do you guys think it will be before we have used Xbox One games at places like Gamestop or on eBay or what have you? I don't know about you guys, but after paying $500 for Xbox One, I don't really want to pop out $60 each on another five or six games!

It won't be long. As a matter of fact on Amazon some Xbox One games are already available used, but only with $3 shaved off on average.

Yeah it never takes long for games to hit used status even with freshly released consoles. You're probably asking when they'll get down to wallet-friendly prices...which will be a while unless the game is a lemon.

none at my gamestop yet. i tried. in bigger markets i would think its possibly easier to find used.

Well that won't be that surprising. Ebay did shave of $3 off each game. Same goes with other stores and sites. Well, this makes it more convenient for us since we get things cheaper and affordable. I hope they could also lower down the console price so I can give a gift to my brother by April.

Yeah it's not surprising. I must say that $3 off a $60 game isn't much. It's slightly cheaper, but that's about it. I would say just wait for it, Smoke but you'll probably end up waiting until early spring or something. Or hope someone on Amazon or eBay is undercutting people.

[i[Those[/i] are who you want to wait for, the undercutters. If you're going into GameStop to get the game you might as well just buy one full price.

Yeah January or February sounds good. By March you could see $10 knocked off a lot of the launch titles. Also watch out for any promos when the new games come out on Amazon. Sometimes there's "Buy 1 Get X% Off" piggy back deals.

Used games are out now. Price drops on those games aren't coming for a while unless you go through eBay or Amazon and hope for the best. If you stock up on Bing Rewards you can get a few Amazon gift cards and hack at the price.

I use those Amazon gift cards alls the time...alls.the.time. I've heard of people saving up enough to pay for half or a whole console. Wish I had the willpower not to touch the reward points.

That's honestly the best use for Bing, those Reward points. Applying them to Amazon cards for games or to get the old points currency on Xbox Live.

Their already availabe it was just a matter of waiting, though the savings aren't that amazing right now. Just enough so I can walk down to Sam's Club and buy a cinnamon pretzel, which by the way are amazing. Other than that true price drops aren't going to come out for a while at least not until after the holiday season.

I've heard of that as well. That's some hardcore...browsing to pay off even half of a console with those points.

I think you will see an influx of used games hitting the market in January. People get new games for Christmas and shortly after sell the titles that have fallen out of their playing rotation.

Won't be long. Give it a month or two, and used games will be sprouting like wildfire. Microsoft was so eager to let used games be available to you, so I'm sure we;'ll be seeing 'em. And yeah, I agree: having to buy another game for $60 can really hurt my wallet.

Doesn't surprise me that Ryse is already being sold used. Realistically though, there are always a few used copies traded in right after the release date of a game. They usually sell really quick though. I was talking about the the other day when I stopped at Gamestop to pick up an extra controller. I hadn't thought of checking Amazon down the road for used games though. Good idea.

There is none at my Gamestop yet either, but they said that there are used games at the Gamestop. Like the others say the price for the used games is not that great right now. You might as well buy it new. It might take a little while before the prices on used games start to drop.
