You need to place the Kinect sensor on a shelf just above or below your TV. But if you cannot find the right spot for the sensor, you can use any one of the following accessories:
Kinect wall mount
You can use the Kinect wall mount to attach the sensor to the wall above your television.
Kinect TV mount
You can attach the sensor to the top of most slim televisions or monitors with The Kinect TV mount which supports flat-panels up to 60 inches.
Kinect floor stand
You can also use Kinect floor stand (2foot or .6 meter) to place the sensor.
Kinect TV mounting clip
Kinect TV mounting clip can be used to fix the sensor to the top of your flat-panel TV.
Kinect extension cable
You can extend the Kinect cable by 10 feet (3meters) using an extension cable.
