Below you will find L.A. Noire cheats. Cheats typically create an advantage beyond normal gameplay, usually to make the game easier.
L.A. Noire Unlockables/Cheats
Bonus outfits
Successfully complete the tasks indicated below to unlock the corresponding outfits:
Button Man: Collect all 20 hidden shields to successfully finish the Badge Pursuit Challenge. This suit provides extra ammunition for all weapons.
Chicago Lightning: Sign up for the Rockstar Social Club. This suit gives you increased accuracy with shotguns and machine guns.
Golden Boy: Start the Traffic Desk.
Hawkshaw: Reach Rank 18. With this costume, you will be able to take more damage.
Sunset Strip: Reach Rank 8.
Sword Of Justice: Reach Rank 4.
The Broderick: This suit makes you more resistance to damage and increases your melee damage.
The Outsider: Reach Rank 13.
The Sharpshooter: With this suit, you get increased accuracy with pistols and rifles.
Easy interviews
During many of the interviews, you can just leave the house or building and the game will auto save. You can then go back to the interview and start again. If you make bad choices, simply go back to Xbox 360 home screen or reset the game. Reload your game, and you should start from the auto save before the interview. Repeat this as many times as desired.
Easy chase scenes
While chasing a suspect on foot or in a vehicle, hold B to keep an eye on them so that the chase is much easier.
When chasing a suspect on foot and you get close, press A repeatedly to tackle them.
During a car chase, pull up alongside a driver so that your partner can fire at him. Shooting the tire will slow down the car. An alternative way to take out a driver is to slam into the rear wheel, causing the car to spin out of control.
Ignoring certain clues
Do not waste time on things like cigarette butts, liquor bottles, and other similar items, as they are meant to mislead you as you investigate a crime scene. From a little dialogue, you will learn that the object you have picked up is not related to the case.
Avoiding criticism while driving
If you are fed up of your partner’s criticism as you drive, you can leave him behind by not letting him get in the car as you drive away. He will then appear when you arrive at the destination.
Red Dead Redemption reference
In the "Silk Stock Murder" case, after you’ve followed the long blood trail leading onto the roof, and examined the body, don’t leave. Instead, turn around and investigate the alley behind you to find a trash can with a cowboy hat in it. This is John Marston's hat from Red Dead Redemption.
